Until the danger to our community passes, we are shifting to web based TeleHealth.
As of May 12, we will have limited in person office hours.
In endocrinology, many of our patients are high risk for COVID complications, including those with Diabetes Mellitus, Cushing's Syndrome, Adrenal Insufficiency, and patients over 65 years old. Especially for those at higher risk, we continue to insist on Tele-Medicine visits. You will be able to see us and speak with us during these virtual visits that will take place using your smart phone or computer. One of our staff members will be calling you to verify your appointment time for a web based visit. If you need, our staff will help you with the steps you need to take to connect with us.
Please note that we will not be doing blood draws in our office, however, both Lab Corp and Quest Laboratories are open for blood and urine collections if you need urgent labs. In the visit, we can discuss if blood tests are necessary or can be postponed. Without seeing patients (virtually or in person) it is difficult to assess the necessity for labs.
Our staff will continue working during this difficult period to answer phones, help you get started with telehealth, fill prescription and take care of your concerns. Our doctors will be seeing patients virtually every day.
Our office phone lines will be open from 9:00am to 12:30pm and 1:30pm-5:00pm Monday thru Thursday. On Fridays our phone lines will stay open until 4:00pm. We will be closed for lunch from 12:30-1:30pm Monday-Friday.
We look forward to returning to in person visits and full operation as soon as safe for our community.
We wish you all good health and urge you to practice social distancing to protect our entire community.
Please check cdc.gov for regular updates on how to practice social distancing.
