DIANE R. KRIEGER, MD

• Dr. Diane R. Krieger received a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University and her Medical Degree from The University of California at San Francisco. She trained in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology at Beth Israel Hospital, Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism and is a  Professor of Medicine and chief of endocrinology at the Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine at Florida International University where she teaches endocrinology to second and third year medical students and family medicine residents. She served as a principal investigator in clinical research trials for more than twenty years. She lectures frequently and has published numerous chapters, reviews and research results. She has been named a US News Top Doctor and a Florida Superdoctor. She was a recipient of the 2022 FBI Director’s Award for Excellence for her role in the investigation of a serial murder case involving insulin. Dr. Krieger is on the board of directors of Casa Valentina, an organization dedicated to providing opportunity to at risk young people in the Miami community.
